Garden Education
The botanical garden plays an important part in
stimulating the study and understanding of the sciences. Each year 1,500
students from Huntsville and Madison County spend a day at the Garden learning
about the role plants play in their lives.

Butterfly Program
Summer offers young students the opportunity to
attend various butterfly-oriented programs. Environmental awareness is promoted
in our composting education program and teacher workshops help carry the message
back to school classrooms. Over 60 educational workshops and programs serve over
1,800 participants of all ages.
